All heating elements are IP rated - a system for classifying the degrees of protection provided by the enclosures of electrical equipment. The object of this rating is to :

• Protect persons against access to hazardous parts inside the enclosure.
• Protect equipment inside the enclosure against ingress of solid foreign objects.
• Protect equipment inside the enclosure against harmful effects due to the ingress of water.

All heating elements are CE approved.

Standard Element
Rated at IP55 - suitable for installation into Zones 2 and 3 of the bathroom.

Electronique Element
Rated at IP66 - suitable for installation into Zones 1, 2 and 3 of the bathroom.

The electronique element is a major advance in bathroom appliance performance. It is an electronically controlled heater system specifically designed to optimise the power output of Vogue’s range of towel rail systems across a wide range of conditions and applications.

Benefits include:

• Able to achieve a constant surface temperature without expensive external control equipment.
• Surface temperature will remain constant to the touch, whether the rail is fully covered with towels, or bare, in a cold or hot ambient, day or night.
• In the fully loaded towel warming mode it will act to reduce power and save running cost.
• In space heating mode the control system will increase the power to deliver the background heat needed.
• The system is safe to touch.
• Various safety features are incorporated into the design to ensure the system will fail-safe in the unlikely event of control component failure.

The product is CE accredited to IP66 i.e. it is able to be fitted in any zone within the bathroom.

Thermostatic Element
Rated at IP54 - suitable for installation into zones 2 and 3 of the bathroom.

The thermostatic element has three appliance temperature settings for maximum comfort, together with a frost protection position for peace of mind.  An integral LED provides a prominent reminder that the towel rail is on.
